Cross Reference Directories are published under the various trade names by the members of the International Association of Cross Reference Directory Publishers. Members must adhere to standards of quality and accuracy with their respective publications and must be established and reputable firms. Cross Reference Directories will differ in features and contents, but all contain a minimum of two basic sections.

Street Address Section - lists by street address, with name and phone number. All addresses are ZIP CODED, and multiple listings are shown. Some publications contain wealth rating, year of listing, business identification, new listing identification, new street identification, and street location guides.

Telephone Numerical Section - lists by phone number sequence showing name. Some additional features that may be found are address with phone listing, business identification, new or changed listing identification, and multiple listings.

Cross Reference Directories are published annually and cover complete city and suburban areas. One of the greatest assets to the subscriber is current information.
